See you in 2011! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2010 Road Race Results HERE Welcome to the 2010 JohnnyMilesFesitval.com site. The Johnny Miles Fesitval is the premiere site for summer entertainment in the town of Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia. As you can see from last year, things have changed. But it's not just our website that's had a facelift, the entire festival has been made-over! This year's festival has been extended from a 3-day weekend, to a 5-day event-packed showcase of events. Everything kicks off on Wednesday, August 4th and wraps up on Sunday, August 8th (with our incredible 3D Fireworks of course!). The town of Sydney Mines will be rockin' with live entertainment, fun, and games for people of all ages. Over the course of the 5 days we will see some classics return from previous years, plenty of new events for everyone to enjoy, and our feature event: The 5K Road Race. This race is sought after by people from all over the province. It is an incredible route that takes runners all through our beautiful town, along our picturesque waterfront, and alongside the site of a former coal mine. What more could you ask for? Official running times will be recorded and posted as well. This year's festival promises to be bigger and better than any other, so keep checking back often for all the latest and greatest.
